In addition to facilitating general month-end close procedures such as recording necessary journal entries, multiple balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and ensuring accurate financial reporting, I single-handedly managed the entire Mattersight software sales team’s commission plans and deferrals. I employed a customer- facing role by generating and providing monthly billing detail and support for multiple Fortune 500 clients. I managed project deferrals along with the related amortization for company-wide deployments and product line implementations. Furthermore, I single-handedly evaluated and provided to senior leadership an impact analysis of all newly won Mattersight SAAS deals on accounting operations regarding revenue recognition treatment. Lastly, I trained staff hires and reviewed staff accountant journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis for accuracy and completion.

Facilitate month end close procedures for US Cellular’s Lease portfolio. Certain responsibilities include recording and managing straight line rents, buildout expenses, tenant allowances, accruals and amortization, as well as performing monthly balance sheet and opex reconciliations. Other duties include monthly variance analysis to internal parties, assisting with auditor requests and performing quarterly supporting schedules and tieouts.
