-Catalog & organize a comprehensive inventory of the artist's estate.-Implement a detailed database of the collection, documenting artwork titles, dimensions, mediums, images & condition.

-Provide data entry in accordance with NMAfA’s established TMS standards & guidelines, including entering results of a recent inventory & records for new acquisitions, loans & exhibitions.-Provide informal training & support to new & existing TMS users.-Prepare digital images & importing them into the Smithsonian DAMS, ensuring images are correctly linked from the DAMS to TMS.

-Coordinate loan agreements, packing and shipping arrangements, installation schedules for the touring exhibition "Meiji Modern: Fifty Years of New Japan" which includes almost 200 works from over 50 lenders

-Created workflow and tracking process for photographing over 1,200 works from the permanent collection-Collaborated with staff to refine existing policies and procedures for art handling and viewing requests, incoming art, & location tracking

-Developed & implemented policies and procedures relating to the permanent and long-term loan collections. -Compiled & maintained legal documentation and physical histories of the permanent collection including all related records and reports. -Served as liaison with numerous University Offices including: Offices of General Counsel, the Governing Boards & Insurance Carriers.-Developed & implemented comprehensive collection inventory plan -Led Collections Management’s digital initiative intended to replace paper transactions wherever possible. -Responsible for all digital files, including but not limited to non-studio quality object images and scans of all paper records.-Supervise assistant registrar for collections and perform all related staff performance evaluations and goal setting for the department. -Oversaw the registration elements of two major and seven minor exhibitions including domestic and international loans, working directly with curators, artists and lenders.

-Facilitated acquisition and deaccession projects, including preparing agendas and coordinating acquisition meetings, correspondence, contracts, shipping and maintaining appropriate files. -Assessed object condition, produced reports & consulted with conservators as needed.-Advised TMS Administrator on collections management features and development.

Responsible for processing outgoing loans, shepherding the request through the multistep internal review process, overseeing packing, shipping and installation logistics.Surveyed all paintings for suitability to move and oversaw large scale furniture packing in preparation for museum renovation and expansion.
