Design Manager for Sewell Construction, part of the Sewell Group. Responsible for supervision of internal design team colleagues and external designer and specialist consultant appointments. Involved in all aspects of both pre-construction and on-site design requirements. Experienced in primary, secondary and further education new build and refurbishments as well as health and community projects from concept design stage through to handover. Lead in sustainable construction requirements, compliance and best practice. Responsible for design risk management and mitigation, liaison with planning, building control and other statutory authorities and all aspects of reviewable design that require client engagement or sign off. BIM ISO 19650 lead across all projects. PAS 2038 retrofit lead.
