The Curriculum Quality & Alignment (CQA) team ensures the alignment of industry validated skills to curriculum and their integration in course content. Team members identify the unique needs of each program utilizing a variety of resources and research (Lightcast reports, alumni status reports, etc.) and create customized evaluation tools (KSA Analysis) to validate them with TSTC teammates and industry partners. The team further quality checks the integration of industry-validated skills into course content through the use of the OSCQR evaluation tool. This work is accomplished through the extensive collaboration with CQA team members across instructional divisions. In addition, the CQA team conducts training on PBE deconstruction and complex skill development and manage all course competency and learning objective changes. The alignment and quality control focus of the CQA team supports the Big 3, as this level of analysis of industry skills and alignment to curriculum is unique to higher education.
