This involved panel training, data analysis, interpretation and communication of results to clients for all studies.• Responsible for creating and managing sensory testing schedule and communicating to relevant parties.• Re-organised existing sensory tracking and filing system to improve traceability and referencing. Food Technologist (Speciality Beverages)November 2000 - January 2003• Management of various programmes including New Product Development, Quality Improvement and Cost Optimisation for Speciality Coffee products.• Main duties included prototype development, presentation of designs to internal and external customers, sensory and consumer testing and product commercialisation.• Management of production trials including sourcing and delivery of ingredients, organisation of resources and equipment, documentation preparation and on-site monitoring. • Assisted with the training and induction of new staff.• Completion and on-going maintenance of COSHH assessments to ensure compliance with ISO procedures.• Liaison with other R&D Departments to ensure common systems implemented within R&D. • Preparation of specifications for a wide range of Specialty Coffee products.I received an “Above and Beyond the Call of Duty” award in May 2001 for my contribution to a major European Quality Improvement Programme.During this time I was also Area Safety Committee Chairperson. I represented R&D on the site Safety Committee and was responsible for setting and communicating relevant goals to the Senior Management Group and the R&D Department.
