I currently work on consumption and exposure assessments for the risk assessment unit within the FSA. This includes a mixture of responding to incidents, supporting with papers for the Committee on Toxicity, and reviewing dossiers. I am trained in the use of Creme software for conducting assessments, and I am also the project officer for a project developing a new food additives exposure model for Great Britain.

I currently support the Toxicological Risk Assessment team who sit within the Science Evidence and Research Division with the FSA. Here I learnt how to conduct allergen risk assessments and also supported in the production of a risk assessment regarding folic acid fortification in flour. I experienced presenting this document to the Committee on Toxicity which was a great experience and finalised this document for consideration by ministers. Finally, I volunteer for the Food For Thought team supporting in the organisation of seminars aligning with the FSA’s research priority.
