As a club representative we advertise one of the UK's largest student nights to the students of Nottingham. My roles include greeting and registering customers at the door as well as troubleshooting ticket issues. We ensure flow of customers into the venue is smooth and are efficient at assisting a large number of customers at a time. Other responsibilities include assisting with social media operations and decoration for themed nights.

Working as a recreational assistant I had multiple responsibilities such as membership sales, front of house payments and customer communications. During my time at Charters Leisure centre, I enjoyed greeting customers with a friendly face and offering first class service. I loved being part of such a great team, who were passionate about the facilities we offer, and building personal and proactive working relationships with everyone who walked through our doors.

During my time working abroad, I was able to achieve my National Lifeguarding certificate and got the opportunity to teach children of all ages swimming and life-saving skills. I learnt how to tailor my lessons for ages 4-16 and loved seeing campers grow in confidence in their water skills. Being specialty staff we had a huge turn over of campers throughout the day and ensured safety in and out of the water was our priority at all times.I also had the opportunity to be part of the canoe, kayak and sailing programme for KKC (Kayla's Children Centre). During my time working for KCC, we ran water-front activities for children with a range of disabilities and complex medical needs. It was extremely rewarding to see the children thrive on the lake and a fantastic opportunity to be part of such an incredible and specialised programme.
