Hello! My name is Katie Appleberg, I am an Assistant Event Coordinator for the Village of Schaumburg working out of the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts! In May of 2020 I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Hospitality has always been in the cards for me, I have a wide range of experience in all fields including but not limited to, food service, retail, hotel services, and event management. My career path has been a journey, but thankfully I have found my way through the industry to find my passions. Every experience and job that I have had has gotten me to where I am at today. My current position with the Village of Schaumburg allows me to use my hospitality skill set in planning, organizing, and providing an all around great quality of service to all rental groups that perform at the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts.
