Moved from Toronto to Vancouver in 1998 transferring from BBDO in Toronto to the Vancouver affiliate of Lanyon Phillips. My client experience included BC Hydro and the Nisgaa Land Treaty, a once in a lifetime assignment.
I was an Account director at BBDO Advertising, one of the world's global leaders at the time. Great exposure to some huge branding projects, including Pepsi. From New York ad agency exposure, to Pepsi-Man in Quebec, this was a fun experience!
Account Supervisor on Moosehead Breweries, Samsung, and other accounts. Most memorable moments were making beer commercials in the Maritimes - I was so lucky to get to experience lots of amazing trips to the East Coast exploring Halifax, Yarmouth, St. Johns, Fredericton...and even whale watching in Digby, Nova Scotia. Amazing part of our country, amazing.
Fresh out of university, I cut my teeth at Ogilvy and Mathers on global brands including Duracell, The World Wildlife Fund, Glaxo Pharmaceuticals, and Quaker Oats...to name a few. Strong memories include getting to attend a WWF dinner with Prince Phillip, many trips to Peterborough to the Quaker Oats head office, and attending the annual Duracell.
