About Katie Cote, Aicp

I want to help people live fuller lives and have richer experiences in the built environment. My skillset as urban planner includes land use policy analysis, project management, climate resilience, project permitting, and anything related to zoning, development standards, and comprehensive planning. I also work with planning students as university instructor teaching the next generation of planners how be good listeners, thorough analysts, and able partners to the communities they serve. For each of my clients, I take time to understand the unique policy and environmental underpinnings facing their site, neighborhood, city, or region. With each project, I prioritizes clear communication, inclusion, and equitable outcomes. My clients benefit from the wealth of experience I have built though project work in planning laws and policies, climate change and climate resilience strategies, public engagement, middle housing, comprehensive planning, zoning codes, design guidelines, and environmental regulations.
