Maximized volunteer awareness of fundraising campaigns that resulted in increased revenue for Seattle's Union Gospel Mission.

Greater Seattle Area

Cultivated, encouraged, and coached new and existing corporate groups to connect them with SUGM’s mission of serving the homeless in King County. Assisted with planning and execution of 27 informative, engaging face-to-face events including Lunch & Learns, personally led tours, speaking engagements, and volunteer events. Contributed to initial contact, presenting, gathering guest speakers, following up with attendees to arrange future events and financial donations.

Greater Seattle Area

Acted as a point of contact and secured GIK donations from partners within the community including a new van, equipment for shelter kitchens, and coffee and pastries for staff-wide monthly meetings. Cultivated philanthropy of existing donor, resulting in an expansion of their contributions—including a $10,000 donation for a college scholarship fund for SUGM program interns, and additional GIK donations for Mission programs.

Recruited and maintained a portfolio of new BAM donors including Ethan Stowell Restaurants, St. Clouds Restaurant/The Neighborhood Cooking Foundation, Providence Health and Services, ISSO Seattle, the Tzu Chi Foundation and many more. Collaborated with donor PR reps to host special events including “Cooking with Ethan Stowell” at Hope Place and John Howie of Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar with the Seattle Seahawks at the Men’s Shelter. Cultivated and grew relationships with restaurants and corporate accounts such as Azteca, Continental Mills, and El Gaucho Hospitality. Collaborated with shelter kitchen and welcome staff to create a hospitable environment for volunteers. Partnered with the Mission's marketing team to create promotional video featured on UGM’s webpage. Wrote, edited, and designed informational materials for shelters and UGM’s staff. Nurtured engaging, memorable experiences for volunteers; registered and recorded hours and donations.

Greater Seattle Area

Built an independent business from the ground up by successfully developing and managing prospective, new and existing clients, implementing best practices for business development, and persistently following through. Annually increased profits and consistently met and exceeded monthly sales goals. Excelled at repeat and referral business. Highlights include being a featured regional speaker at The Scoop, CAbi’s semi-annual national sales conference. Qualified for and participated in strategic planning and sales/marketing meetings hosted by Exec Team. Invited to share sales techniques at company training and recruiting events. Led, trained, guided, and mentored a sales team of 5 to successfully build independent businesses. Assisted with the planning and execution of company meetings at the local level.
