Worked directly with hospital leadership to conceptualize and create high-level strategic communications, including the creation of hospital tour, concept papers, clinical program overviews, and gift proposals over $1M+. Directed capital campaign messaging and materials, outlining/defining large-scale funding objectives. Advised signature event messaging, and provided speaking points for hospital’s premier events. Worked with Public Affairs Department and Marketing Department on projects related to institutional initiatives and presidential-level messaging.

Directed and managed a comprehensive communications unit and a stewardship unit with a total of 10 staff members within the Development Office. Advanced the mission and fundraising priorities of BWH and engaged and stewarded the hospital’s external and internal constituencies, including patients, physician-researchers, senior administrators, trustees, donors and volunteers. Provided communication and content creation spanning multi-million $ proposals, case statements, brochures, reports, web-content, design services, concept papers, and editorial support for the Development Office and other departments as needed.

(Relationship ongoing to present) Worked with Pearson and Longman Publishing on multiple projects including providing new apparatus for existing texts, writing new chapters to update existing texts, creating online educational materials, footnoting a major American literature anthology, preparing all material for instructor's manuals, and launching a new introductory writing textbook.
