I am currently leading a team of Profit Protection Specialists for our Supply Chain and Logistics function at Halfords.We provide an effective & efficient Profit Prevention service to the business through investigation, mitigation, and education. We help provide insight into critical areas of loss, as well as helping to monitor those areas to track progress and change. We work right the way through the supply chain, from the goods that enter the network to their receipt into store- and also look at the returns logistics function too. We have helped to improve many critical areas within the supply chain, including picking accuracy, and also delivery accuracy into stores. We identify and minimise the risks of financial losses, related to both internal and external areas, and use our data to provide insight into areas of focus. We aim to provide suitable risk reduction strategies by collaborating with all levels of the business. This includes working with the team on the floor, right the way up. We communicate our investigation outcomes and recommendations to all levels of the business, including working with our transport providers, whilst actively seeking feedback and seizing opportunities to learn and develop. The scope of our team has broadened massively since its inception, and we cover the whole of the UK and ROI- and we also look at the security aspects of our warehouses, including our off-site storage, and conduct site-specific security audits to ensure compliance. We also manage and monitor the security services and contracts within our whole retail estate, including (but not limited to) CCTV, manned guarding, intruder alarms, EAS gates, stocktakes, and cash services. This also includes monitoring and delivering the budget in this area too.

Currently a Stock Integrity Specialist and Senior Admin for a Twenty Million Pound a year Megastore. I keep the store operations running effectively and efficiently. Main duties involve:-+ Money Management- Cashing up the tills, banking, lifting tills, floating money.+ Stock Control- P.I counts, Goods In/Out, Stock Recalls, Pay and Collect Management, Stock Audit planning and management, stock investigations, stock out of branch control.+ Paperwork Management- Reconciling daily paperwork, sending Credit Agreements to the finance company, sorting out finance paperwork issues.+ Managing Reports- Business Maginus issues, Branch Stock at Risk, SALT, Paper Only Returns, GA Discrepancies. + Returns Management- Collating and scanning through stock returns and sending them to the correct cost centre, dealing with store stock repair items, ensuring stock collections are due on refund items.Within the business I am responsible for the majority of the operational issues within the store. Every week I must ensure that everything is in order, issues are investigated and issues raised to management. There are stock counting schedules which must be completed and any issues raised to the stores' LPS. The store is targeted each year for cash and stock loss so I must make sure that everything runs in line with these targets and make departments aware if they are having issues. Towards the end of the financial year I collate the years losses by planning group and create graphs and reports which are taken to regional loss meetings, use them to show variations within planning groups and highlight any changes in loss patterns.Working within retail means that I have picked up many different skills, such as:-+ Team Work+ Working to a tight schedule.+ Hard Working.+ Efficient.+ High Attention to Detail.
