As a Human Resources Technician at NATOMAS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, I support the recruitment, hiring, and retention of qualified staff for the district. I manage the applicant tracking system, coordinate interviews and orientations, and process payroll and benefits. I also assist with employee relations, performance evaluations, and training programs.Prior to joining NATOMAS UNIFIED, I was an Associate Marketing Manager at Capitol Weekly Group, a Sacramento-based political newspaper. There, I gained valuable experience in event planning, advertising sales, and social media marketing. I organized and promoted several political events, such as forums, debates, and luncheons, and secured sponsorships from various organizations and businesses. I also handled the employment and hotel advertising for the newspaper, and managed its Facebook and Twitter accounts.
