In my practice as a litigator, I represent business clients in a wide range of complex litigation in trial and appellate courts across the country. With a focus on representing Fortune 100 and other leading companies in consumer class actions and related cases or investigations, I see my role as serving as a trusted advisor to achieve our clients' objectives. I have worked on appeals across a broad spectrum of legal issues, including antitrust, contracts and business torts, ERISA, product labeling, privacy, and product liability.While focusing on big cases for great companies, I have devoted thousands of hours to pro bono cases. And I have volunteered my time to try to improve the legal profession as a whole: having served on the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors and chaired the Washington Commission on Judicial Conduct, I am now serving on the American Law Institute Council.

I led the firm's Executive Committee in its strategic, policy-making, and oversight functions, while working closely with the firm’s Management Committee and Senior Leadership Team. I also led the development of the firm's 2023 strategic plan. Prior to becoming chair of the Executive Committee, I served for three years as chair of Perkins Coie’s national Litigation practice, leading a team of more than 250 lawyers in 16 U.S. offices.
