Serving as an integral member of the Leadership team, as the Senior Director of Engagement, I am responsible for leading the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of communications and advocacy activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the Iowa Primary Care Association, IowaHealth+, and INConcertCare. The Iowa PCA provides training, technical assistance, and advocacy support to 13 community health centers in Iowa and one migrant health program. IowaHealth+ is a clinically integrated network owned and managed by 11 Iowa health centers and the Iowa Primary Care Association (Iowa PCA). The organization is a voluntary business venture dedicated to providing payor agnostic and value-based care while furthering the unique mission of community health centers. INConcertCare encompasses our health information technology focus, serving as the Health Center Controlled Network in Iowa. In my role, I lead the strategy and execution of:- State and Federal Advocacy: congressional and state legislature engagement, grassroots advocacy- External Communications: strategic communications, marketing, media relations, digital engagement, social media, branding, patient engagement- Internal Communications: employee communications and engagement, leadership communication, messaging training- Event Planning: leads the direction and vision for the Iowa Community Health Conference

Developed and executed strategic marketing and communications plans with Associate Athletic Director and Director of Marketing for Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Volleyball.

Responsible for media relations, business operations, and ticket services coordination for the National Basketball Association Development League (NBDL) franchise in Iowa.
