Profile bio

About Katie Singh, Cpcc

Twenty years ago, I began my career as an elementary school teacher in Oakland, California looking to support and empower children to reach their full potential, while closing opportunity gaps for students in high-need communities. From my time in the classroom, my career took me to roles at the World Bank, the New York City Department of Education and the Urban Schools Human Capital Academy, where I had opportunities to tackle complex strategic problems and design programs for leaders in education organizations to transform their talent management systems, with a focus on equity. In 2020, I founded Tide Risers Seattle - one of my proudest career accomplishments - which gave me an opportunity to build a group coaching experience for women leaders that focused on meeting their goals and building community, through the challenges and change of that tumultuous year. In 2021, I became the Chief of Strategy & Growth at Tide Risers, supporting the CEO to shift the business model and successfully recruited Tide Risers’ first global cohort - its largest and most diverse. In 2022, I made an intentional shift to career and leadership coaching. My focus has been on supporting leaders navigate career changes and life transitions, including supporting parents (both men and women!) to successfully prepare for and return from parental leave through my work with Parentaly.
