As Assistant Ecologist with Inis, my work is split between the GIS and Field Ecology Teams. My responsibilities include but are not limited to: managing andprocessing tablet data for surveyors; digitising field data; viewshed analysis; mapping for clients and reports; technical support for surveyors; report writing; raptor surveys; IWeBS; vantage point surveys; waders surveys; bat surveys; herpetological surveys; mammal surveys; adhering to Best Practice Guidlines when carrying out all tasks.

Having discovered whittling as a new hobby during lockdown, I decided to try turn it into a small business and have enjoyed great success in selling my art both locally and to international buyers.My carvings are inspired mainly by nature and Irish folklore. - Responsible for taking bookings and reservations, taking payments- Welcoming guests to the venue, checking guests in to accommodation and checking out- Managing cleaning staff- Answering general enquiries about the venue- Communicating any upcoming events/bookings to relevant departments in the venue- Ordering stock for the venue- Drafting invoices - Skills for this role included good timekeeping, organisation and planning, excellent written and verbal communication, and exceptional customer service.

Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the pub, working closely alongside the manager.-Serving food & beverages, taking orders and payment, ensuring all customers’ needs are catered for.- I was responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, in accordance with government guidelines on reducing Covid-19 risks to both staff and customers.- In absence of the manager, I was entrusted with opening and closing the bar, managing the bar and floor, cashing up and balancing the tills.

- Member of the regular core labour team; I was often required to teach and supervise new or casual labourers on the farm.- Cut, planted and harvested sweet potato plants; my ability to work quickly and carefully was absolutely essential in order to maximise crop yield for farmer.- Packed produce while adhering to food hygiene standards. My ability to maintain attention to detail while working quickly reduced the number of returned orders for the company.

- Prepared food and supported chefs throughout food service; gained knife and cooking skills.- Maintained a high standard of hygiene in the kitchen throughout service and had the responsibility of deep cleaning the kitchen every evening after service

- Maintenance of stock on shop floor; required good product knowledge and use of store’s stock inventory system.- Customer service; Actively listened to customers’ needs which led to increased customer satisfaction and shop sales.- Regularly entrusted by store manager to train in new employees due to my dependability and efficiency.

- Primary role was running the park take-away; responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of food and ensuring HACCP practices were adhered to at all times.- Often required to work as relief staff in the shop, processing sales and assisting customers.- Supervised and created Kidsclub activities which involved entertaining and looking after large groups of children.

- Mainly operated tills which required good numeracy skills and dealing with customers on a one-to-one basis.- Responsible for maintain shop floor, supervising fitting room areas and advising customers on products.

- Cared for customers for the duration of their visit; took orders, served meals and drinks, cleared and set tables, and developed a good rapport with regulars.- Gained barista experience.
