Orchestrate luxury weddings at a Forbes Five Star Resort through the process of selling, booking, and planning. Managed administrative aspects of the events including booking weddings, creating contracts, and compiling financial deposits. Executed day of coordination for wedding and ancillary events through communication with vendors, banquet staff, and members of the wedding team.

Receives all executive meetings turned over by group sales to detail, and execute. Manage, coordinate, and execute executive group assignments for all executive meetings/groups turned over by the Sales Department.  Monitor all contractual agreements pertaining to guest room blocks, meeting space, food and beverage, AV, activities and special concessions.  Effectively communicate to all hotel departments the information necessary to successfully execute the group’s needs while maintaining a good client relationship.

From May 2020 until my promotion in January of 2021, I executed smaller Executive Meetings and/or groups with 50 people or under.

Answer inbound calls from current and potential guests and members regarding accommodations, dining, activities and spa. Proficient in property management (PMS), on property reservations and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. Apart of a team responsible for processing online and after hours reservations. Upheld Forbes 5-Star and Sea Island Standards in each and every interaction. Developed and maintained rapport with guests and members of Sea Island.

Began a part time internship at the start of 2018 with Mamie Ruth, LLC. which led into a full time position after graduation from Georgia Southern. Acted as the communications and social media manager all public relations, sales, and branding for the company.

Interned two days a week as a Public Relations/Social Media Intern for the Boutiques brands, Mamie Ruth Clothing & M. Liz jewelry designs.Created graphics and other promotional material for the store and brands sold throughout, organized events for new product showcasing, monthly events and/or sales. I created a monthly posting calendar for the various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) for both brands as well as my biggest project, building a new website for the store.

Completed a part time summer internship with the creative consulant agency, W. Projects. W. Projects represents artists from all over the country and allowed me to experience corporate 
public relations while in return being a creative outlet. I drafted & edited press releases for publishing, assisted in planning and executing marketing events used to promote the client’s latest work/projects.
