Katie McCrary is the Director of People and Culture at McCrary-West Construction in Columbus, MS. She manages all safety and employee relations, recruitment of new employees, and recognizes employees’ talents so that they might receive the greatest joy from their work. Katie has been a member of the management board for Global Connections since 2009, working with the organization’s Kenyan partners monthly on budgets for partner programs, monthly expenses, global socially responsible investing, and workforce development for merging oppressed populations.  Katie is not only passionate about workforce development but also, small business development and sustainable humanitarian aid development. Katie serves as a Commission Member for the Create Foundation, a committee member for the State of Mississippi’s Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation Fund, and is a founding member of the FORGE Foundation. Katie has been married for 20 years and she and her husband enjoy playing Uber driver to their busy family. Traveling as a family brings them the most joy.
