Katja, who is Danish, is an advisor to the World Economic Forum, King’s College Global Institute for Women’s Leadership, Global Goals World Cup, Women Political Leaders, and on the Board of Directors of 4LifeSolutions.Previously, she has been a member of President Macron’s and Prime Minister Trudeau’s G7 Gender Equality Councils, a long-term member of UNILEVER’s Sustainability Advisory Council, an advisor to the Clinton Global Initiative, and on MIT Solve Challenge Women and Tech Leadership Group etc. As the President/CEO of Women Deliver she oversaw the development and execution of the world's largest conference on gender equality.A sought speaker and moderator, Katja has spoken and moderated at the biggest stages in the world including in Davos at the WEF, at the UN, World Bank, OECD, Harvard, MIT and the Skoll Forum. She was one of the original 100Women@Davos, has been named Dane of the Year, included in the top 20 of Apolitical’s Top 100 of the World's Most Influential People in Gender Policy, received a Women of the Decade award from Women Economic Forum and a Wave Maker Award from HCL Tech, was appointed Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador, and in 2022 awarded an honorary doctorate in philosophy for her “iconic and outstanding contribution towards furthering Cross Cultural Connections”.
