I oversee conceptualization, management, and production of The Mighty's community content efforts. I serve as a cross-functional team member across product, editorial, research, and community/moderation teams.

I managed nonprofit partnerships with an emphasis on social platform engagement both via The Mighty's iOS/Andriod app and web platform.

I holistically reviewed and evaluated undergraduate applications for the College of Engineering, the College of Literature, Science, & the Arts, the School of Nursing and the School of Kinesiology.

I held increasingly challenging roles with Lindamood-Bell: clinician, mentor/tester, literacy consultant, associate center director and center manager. I was an integral part of the team that launched the Ann Arbor, MI Learning Center in October 2013. I orchestrated hiring and managed a fluctuating, seasonal staff of 5-15 employees, conducted annual performance reviews, administered/interpreted comprehensive Learning Ability Evaluations with clients (ages 4+) and made recommendations for appropriate sensory-cognitive instruction. I also conferred with families to discuss academic and language-processing struggles, pursued and often met quarterly sales goals, wrote individualized lesson plans for clients, presented at IEP/504 meetings across all of Southeast Michigan, as well as established robust relationships with industry/community professionals (prominent neuropsychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educational advocates, etc.)

I saw each month’s issue through from start to finish: finalized the story list, pitched and assigned stories, managed a slew of freelancers and photographers, hired and supervised interns, orchestrated cover shoots, fact-checked, copyedited, and proofed the final pages. I had a heavy hand in the new redesign of the magazine and website.

I called in product samples, attended press previews, hired + supervised interns, requested art, pitched ideas, and assisted the Editor-in-Chief of this go-to glossy for the NYC parenting elite. I also wrote various beats for the magazine, which included my bi-monthly beauty column.

I prepared for and ran in-house and off-site volunteer projects for this New York 501(c)(3), which provides essential baby items to over 50 community-based organizations in the five boroughs and beyond.

I wrote a myriad of cultural reviews and short previews (for print and web), blogged, fact-checked print/web features, researched and pitched editorial content, managed the central TONY Kids email inbox, and provided administrative support for this NYC-centric service publication.

I maintained the beauty closet + master PR list, assisted editors and the Good Housekeeping Research Institute with product call-ins for stories and attended beauty-related press events.

I handled all incoming products and press releases, maintained the beauty closet, attended desk sides with various skincare and make-up companies, and assisted editors and writers.

Researched children's products + events, transcribed interviews, blogged and penned several web-exclusive features on topics such as overcoming school anxiety.
