As Vice President of Home Care Innovations at ICA, I lead strategy, planning, and development of ICA’s scaled home care industry innovations including national and state-based secondary cooperatives, rapid replication models of home care cooperative development, acquisitions strategy and related work including partnership development, fundraising, and public education

As Director of ICA’s Home Care Program, I lead the development and implementation of ICA’s national home care strategy and participate in a variety of hands-on development activities including strategic growth consulting, start-up consulting, educational programming--for the National Home Care Cooperatives Conference and the National Home Care Cooperative Initiative—sector benchmarking, and more. In my role I have co-authored over a dozen research studies on home care cooperative development and scale including most recently Profitability, Growth, and Influence: Elevating the Home Care Cooperative Sector with Formalized National Collaboration (January 2021).

Sustainable America is an environmental non-profit organization dedicated to making the nation's food and fuel systems more efficient and resilient. The organization's primary goals are to reduce oil consumption by 50% and increase food availability by 50% within the next two decades. In my position as Director of Programs I led program development and growth in the food and fuel sectors, with an initial focus on fleet fuel efficiency, food service sustainability and alternative agriculture. Core technical assistance programs included: FleetPrint and We Value Food. Program engagements spanned a wide range of industries and interests. Past clients included: Budget Car and Truck Rental, Atlas Van Lines, Crown Uniform and Linen, CleanTex Linen, Point 72 Asset Management, Spinnaker Real Estate and Arnold and Porter, LLP.

Massachusetts non-profit organization building economies that are local, green and fair. As Managing Director at the Sustainable Business Network of Massachusetts, I directed the day-to-day operations and development of the organization and four of its core programs-- the Sustainable Business Leader Program, the Boston Local Food Program, the SBN Leadership Exchange and the Local Green Guide. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Led the planning of the 2012 Boston Local Food Festival drawing over 120 local food vendors and over 40,000 participants to Boston's Rose Kennedy Greenway. Led the re-visioning of SBN's membership program and doubled SBN’s membership in FY2013.Facilitated the expansion of SBN from a regional to a statewide organization.Envisioned and coordinated a new collaborative office space for SBN and allied local organizations.Led SBN's Sustainable Business Leader Program to new heights, establishing core program partnerships and engaging some of the programs largest and highest profile clients to date.Provided holistic environmental consulting and sustainability certification services to over 40 diverse business and non-profit clients across Massachusetts. Secured critical government grants and core program and event sponsors. Raised over $75K in FY2013 in grants, sponsorships and fundraising event income. Spearheaded SBN's new B2B Networking Group. Assembled a dynamic and hard-working staff to ensure a strong future for SBN.Promoted from SBLP Managing Coordinator and SBN Membership Director in July 2012. Joined the SBN Board in August 2013.

theMOVE (The Massachusetts Outdoor Volunteer Experience)- connecting urban youth hands-on with fresh food, and with the labor and land that sustain us. Short-term contract position with theMOVE a new start-up non-profit that facilitates reflective farm-volunteer workdays for diverse urban groups (particularly youth) across Metro Boston, to connect folks hands-on with fresh food, and with the labor and land that sustain us. As Program Coordinator I organized youth farm volunteer trips including coordinating with community groups and farms; led the development of interactive educational learning tools and activities for volunteer groups; wrote grant proposals and secured in-kind sponsorship donations; and co-developed and planned theMOVE’s largest annual fundraising event.Currently serving as an active volunteer and member of the Board of Directors.

Lighting a Billion Lives (LaBL) Campaign- a global rural solar lighting initiativeInternational internship experience as part of my graduate studies in Sustainable International Development. During my time at TERI as Visiting Researcher I authored an original case study on the Lighting a Billion Lives Campaign (LaBL) used as a Master’s level academic learning tool; co-wrote a Kyoto Protocol Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Program of Activities application; developed LaBL PR & communications materials presented at the Copenhagen 15 Climate Conference; supported campaign development and vision planning; and established and fostered strategic partnerships.

International non-profit initiative to build the Asian University for Women (AUW), a new leadership university for women based in Chittagong, Bangladesh. In my role as Program Manager for Operations and Planning I co-led the development and successful completion of AUW’s university campus master plan, Chittagong, Bangladesh, planned as a regional model of sustainability. I managed over $1M in consultant contracts; served as liaison between AUW and international government leaders and partners; researched and wrote major fundraising grants and appeals; and provided support to the President, CAO, CEO and Vice Chancellor in day-to-day operations, management, and development of the Cambridge and Chittagong offices. Promoted from Program Associate for Campus Planning and Development in November 2007
