I geek out on tech, finance and poli sci, and I'm so grateful to have crafted a career portfolio that lets me dig in to these disciplines. My superpower is connecting the dots and as a strategic advisor, I love helping my clients to navigate their most complex challenges, achieve their target outcomes, reduce their organisational risk profile and maximise their investment. As a management consultant for large corporate and government clients, I work at the intersection of technology, organizational change and commercial strategy, and have influenced over $3B in technology expenditure. I help my clients to navigate their most complex technology and digital transformations, spanning all project lifecycle stages from strategy development, through due diligence and commercial negotiations, and into program delivery. As a strategic advisor to startups, I provide advisory board services and ad hoc guidance to rapidly support my clients to understand their unique circumstance, and offer solutions and support to help move forward, including in areas such as governance establishment, de-risking commercial and supplier arrangements, and positioning the organisation to secure new customer engagements. My critical analysis skills extend to editorial work and I have supported PhD students to firm up their thesis in areas such as emerging technology and international relations. In addition to my advisory work, I have recently co-founded a social venture, WeCAN, which is a venture capital fund with the mission to promote more diversity on the cap table while deploying investments into the startup ecosystem. We take no management fee or carry, rather we are seeking to reduce hurdles to participation in the VC and startup ecosystem through collaboration and education. In ongoing pursuit of engaging and challenging work, I am actively pursuing board of director opportunities, and have the capacity for an additional 2-3 startup / advisory board clients. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills can be of benefit.
