This is done as a curator, street artist, performance installation artist and urban disruptor. All of my creative endeavors are steeped in the belief that art can be used as a vehicle for education, social enquiry, placemaking and empowerment. With a multi-disciplinary background that includes voice, contemporary performance-making, performance installation and academia, my curatorial interests lay in bringing together diverse and unexpected groups, practices and industries to instigate a collision of visual, virtual and live art with marginalized and low socio-economic audiences. I remove the commercial interest of the creative process and place it accessibly in public spaces, disrupting the usual expectation of the space in order to demonstrate that everyone should have the right and opportunity to create, access, engage with and appreciate the arts; that arts has fundamental, transformative power in generating positive social change for the individual, the community and on a global level.
