Having worked at Marine Super Store both part-time and full-time around university and travelling, I recently started a full-time position upon completion my degree. This role provides many opportunities and challenges, from dealing with customer inquiries, both in-person and over the phone to stock replenishment and merchandising. More recently during the pandemic, my role was expanded to include warehouse duties such as picking and packing customer orders, using Fedex Shipment Manager software, and receiving and booking-in deliveries. I have been required to develop excellent communication skills, when liaising with both colleagues at all levels of the business, to suppliers and couriers, as well as organisation and time-management skills in order to fulfil customer orders and inquiries within reasonable time.
