I worked for a small chiropractic practice, maintaining quality control for x-ray equipment, taking diagnostic quality images.In addition to my primary role as an x-ray technician, I assist in applying therapies and rooming patients. I create and maintain accurate patient files, complete with verifying insurance, maintaining the ease for which the billing specialist can send out claims. I also act as a front desk coordinator, manning a multiline phone system, scheduling new appointments to maximize the productivity of the clinic, ensuring the flow so that the patients are seen in an efficient manner.It is also my responsibility to rapidly, and accurately, enter the dictations of patient notes, complete from the subjective to the plan. It requires fine attention to detail to also enter in the areas adjusted and which therapies were applied to maintain accuracy in the electronic medical record for the patients. I also enter in histories, medication lists, and other demographic and sensitive patient information.I am in charge of the social media presence for our clinic, on Facebook and on Twitter. I routinely go above and beyond my duties to provide excellent service for my employer, and I provide unparalleled customer service for the patients.
