As a student consultant I, along with 5 others in my team, were required to create a venture plan for Burlington Stone to address issues with their waste management, and propose a feasible option for then to help them reduce their waste and increase their efficiency and profitability. This assignment was of real benefit to the company, and all projects were judged by the top management team (TMT) of Burlington Stone. The TMT would decide which group would be awarded 'The Burlington Stone Trophy' for the best venture plan. Having won a Global design competition combining heart-shaped peel and marmalade, Tiptree recreated my marmalade for the luxury market. Exclusive retailers including Fortnum and Mason, Harrods, and Selfridges sold the product. During this project I was filmed by Blue Peter, where I got to experience the different processes required for Tiptree to recreate my marmalade. As a result of this contact I managed to secure 2 weeks of work experience at their HQ in Essex.During 2 Weeks Work Experience I was Offered the Following Experiences:• Attended a Conference for HRM Held by BP Regarding their Oil Spill in 2010• Worked in the Engineering Department for 10 Days where I Designed and and Built my Own Turn-Table for Thursday Cottage Jams
