Experienced scientist with more than 16 years of hands on research, development and technology transfer in broad areas related to networking and security for both commercial and tactical military networks. Currently leading a group of researchers and engineers in concept, design, implementation and transition of mission critical technologies into the tactical battlefield with several products: a highly secure multi-layer VPN for end-user systems, customized COTS smartphone software and infrastructure suite for tactical end-users, a tactical device manager, an OTA certificate manager and several other related products and services. Also leading CSfC related services offerings and engagements from Vencore Labs. Author of 18 publications and 5 granted patents. Expertise in devising novel networking solutions related to container architectures, ad-hoc routing, overlay multicast setups, routing optimizations, congestion control mechanisms, disruption tolerance, and byzantine fault-tolerant routing protocols. Security expertise in CSfC mandated data-in-transit security, routing protocol intrusion detection and avoidance, cyber physical system protocol vulnerability analysis, secure key exchanges and offensive and defensive mechanisms for systems including smartphones. Current interests include:►CSfC compliant infrastructure network design and implementations.►CSfC compliant Mobility Manager and Agent for COTS Android smartphones.►Tactical Device Management, OTA Certificate Management, COTS Android hypervisors►Low and High Volume Distributed Denial of Service attacks and remediation.►Container (docker) architectures and orchestrations in highly secure defensive systems.►Specialized smartphone configurations with tactical radios, ad-hoc networking, hardened VPNs. ►Android OS native, services and specialized application design and development.►Smartphone security, specifically offensive malware injection and defensive kernel frameworks.
