I am leading a Team for Statutory & Fiscal for my client. We prepare GST and VAT Filing and return submission as well as process S&F related journal entries. We also work on Corporate Tax Reporting for various units of the company.

My role was that of GL Lead, looking into the overall accounting of the Business Center. Month End Reporting, Vendor Expense Booking and Payment Analysis, Travel Expense Reporting, Project Expense Accounting and Analysis, Group Company Reporting, Payroll Query Handling, Fixed Assets Schedule Preparation, TDS Calculation, PL and BS ledger Account Analysis, Actual vs Budget vs Forecast Analysis

I was catering to one of the GE Business and am in GL profile. I am involved with the AP Reporting and helping the Corporate Treasury in initiating and monitoring Fund Movements for the payments against Invoices and also involved in a Project of cleaning up of Historic Balance lying in the Accounts Payable Account. The activities that I am involved in are:-• Posting of IBS AP Settlement Entries.• Booking of Cash Pool Interests Entries and booking missed Cash Pool Sweeps in the GL.• Booking speculation entries for Spot Contracts.• Booking of FX Variances at Invoice level.• Reconciliation of Bank Balances with the Settlement Entries.• Processing any ad hoc requests that I receive from the Business.• Educating the Businesses on the actual use of the IBS AP Account.• Releasing Invoices which are in various types of Holds, like Restricted Country, Regulated Entity, WHT, Fund Receipts etc.• Analyzing Oracle 9-Digit Accounts and understanding the movements in those accounts within a certain period.• Creation of Deal Accounts to book any costs in relation to a particular project.The interface used here are Oracle 11i for most Operating Units and SAP for a few.

I joined as a Financial Analyst and then got promoted as a Snr. Financial Analyst and finally was promoted to the position of Lead Analyst.My responsibility included:1. Closing and Reporting, Inter-Company Accounting.2. Reconciliating balances between Bank Transfers and various Suspense Accounts.3. Wire Transfers for Fund Movement between banks of Amex..4. Preparation of Loan Schedules and Interest Bookings.

This was my first job.I was part of the various Audit teams and visited various clients like Goodricke, Vesuvius, Statesman and undertook audits which includes Statutory Audits, Concurrent Audits, Tax Audits and Audit Bureau of Circulation Audits.
