Oversee day to day accounting function. Keep a detailed record of all accounting transactions right from general ledger entries to maintaining of journals. Handle Suppliers’ Account from purchases to payment of accounts payable. Handle Customers’ Account from invoicing to collection of receivables. Reconcile general ledger’s subsidiary accounts and prepare journal voucher entries for any discrepancy in the account balances. Preparing the Letter of Credit applications, tracking LCs and Margin Monitor bank balances, liaises with the banks regarding the bank account and prepares monthly Bank Reconciliation Statement. Administer online banking functions and liaises with bankers regarding financial transactions. Prepare the monthly payroll, bank transfer to employee’s account as per WPS procedure. Handling of Petty Cash accounts. Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement and other company reports. Assist external auditors during audit and prepares trial balance and schedules of ledger accounts. Carrying out any other accounting related duties as assigned by the management. Prepares journal entries, cash, and inter-fund transfers.
