I'm a wife, mom, & grandma, married to the same old geezer for 47 years and still blessed with a marriage worth dying for. I'm a happy and hyper person with many passions, one of which is writing.I was born in Metropolis, Illinois in November of 1946, the first daughter of a fire and brimstone baptist preacher of a little country church that looked like it belonged on a greeting card. I've been a homemaker and stay at home mom for most of our 47 years, but worked for 7 years right after our youngest daughter married and until my husband retired in 2003. I worked for one year for a health food store just to study under the naturopathic doctor that ran that clinic. I also worked as head cashier at our local Hobby Lobby, just for fun to finish out my time of waiting on Billy to retire.I've studied natural healing and living since 1977 and I absolutely believe God gave us all bodies that will heal themselves of most diseases IF we give our bodies the nutrients necessary to do just that. And I'll be writing a lot about getting healthy, staying healthy, our PH balance, juicing, raw foods, diet and exercise and more. I love cooking and cleaning and gardening and my favorite days are spent just foo fooing around our home and I'm very passionate about most things that I'm interested in. I've been church pianist continually for 58 years and I absolutely LOVE evangelistical style piano playing.I've written a couple of columns periodically for the local newspaper over the years and I absolutely LOVE writing and storytelling...but I like to write, just like we're sitting across the kitchen table from each other and just sharing the news of the day...Peace and Love and thanks so much for stopping by...The Katydid
