Employment Services Assistant Ii
Current• Schedule and conduct all half-day trainings for department new hires and promotional positions on the use of Employee Self Service program, eHR and Time Collection• Coordinate and conduct 6-8 weeks of extensive one-on-one and/or group training for new timekeepers within Pay and Leave unit and/or various stations and bureaus.• Manage 10-16 unit timekeepers by approving time amendments, auditing projects and daily tasks to ensure each deadline is met• Provide technical solutions and IT troubleshooting for eHR (TIMEI) and MARS Help Desk email/phone inquiries and requests• Conduct unit/station audits and coordinate further timekeeping training if applicable• Special projects related to running reports, audits and corrections• Acts as a liaison to the Los Angeles County Auditor Controller's Office• Present Pay and Leave time and benefit information to DST, SA, SO, and CA Academy orientations off site• Utilize Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, eHR, Outlook, Intranet• Implement, interpret and create amendments to Departmental Manual of Policy and Procedures (MPP), department timekeeping manual and eHR Policy and Procedures• Interpret and enforce County Codes, County Civil Service Rules and Memorandums of Understanding• Reviewed and analyzed employment applications in accordance to the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources guidelines and procedures• Coordinated and administered all stages of testing for assigned examinations (including Subject Matter Expert reviews, written examinations, computer examinations, oral interviews, Appraisal of Promotability, and appeals)• Assisted department employees and county divisions with inquiries involving job bulletins, qualifications and the overall exam process• Create, update and improve eHR and timekeeping training methods for both in-person training and virtual training• Manage security role access to eHR - TimeI
