Personal Assistant to the Executive Team and Clerk to the Corporation

Working as a member of Senior Leadership Team Support providing a secretarial and administrative service to the Executive and Directors, my main role is to provide a PA service to the Clerk to the Corporation and governors. I plan and facilitate the Corporation and Committee meetings, governor development events and other cross-college events as required, whilst undertaking day-to-day administrative duties relating to the post.

Dewsbury

On the early retirement of the previous PA to the Principal, I undertook her duties in addition to my role as Assistant to the Clerk until the year following the merger with Huddersfield Technical College.

From joining the College in 1985 I worked for a variety of Vice Principals (Resources/Curriculum and Quality Assurance/Finance and Resources), culiminating in a personal secretarial service to the Deputy Principal (Curriculum and Quality Assurance) in 1996 until her promotion and the dissolution of the post. As a result of this I was employed as the Quality Monitoring Officer from 2001 to 2003.

Wakefield

Whilst at Dunlop Slazenger I provided a personal secretarial service to the Marketing Director and also supported the Marketing Manager, Research and Development Manager and the Sales Director.

Dewsbury

General typing and dealing with telephone queries as well as providing a secretarial service to the manager. Occasional counter duties.
