After founding the HR department in the later months of 2006, developed and implemented a Motor Industry Award nominated, best in industry, HR strategy based on Recruitment, Induction, Development & Retention. I believed in sharing best practice, evolving and maintaining the HR department whilst working closely and in support of the Managing Directors, Operations Director, Finance Director and other department heads.Ultimate responsibility for all people based activity within the organisation, from both an operational and strategic perspective. Areas of involvement covered: business strategy, budgeting, acquisitions (TUPE regulations), redundancy, resource planning, recruitment, selection, induction, training, employment law, tribunal preparation and representation, policy & procedures creation, managing all employment relation issues, salary review and payroll.

After founding the Group’s quality management programme, I had ultimate responsibility for the recruitment, implementation, management and development of a team of eleven Quality Managers. Conducting internal audits of compliance against governing standards and providing guidance and direction for business improvements. Ensuring effective analysis of key performance indicators, identification of root causes, implementation of preventative measures and full compliance with governing standards.-Certified Auditor for the Volkswagen Group – Approved to audit compliance with ISO Standards & Block Exemption Regulations.-Responsible for analysing business compliance with associated standards and providing coaching, guidance and clear direction in terms of shortfalls and opportunities for development.-Successfully ensured 100% audit compliance throughout the business.-Key involvement in evaluating the effectiveness of business practices and the identification and communication of best practice approaches.
