Supported the development and implementation of ASAP's capacity development strategy. The IUCN SSC Asian Species Action Partnership (ASAP) is a partnership platform with the mission of halting species extinctions in Southeast Asia. With over 200 partner organisations across Southeast Asia, ASAPs capacity development strategy is targeting multiple levels to maximise effectiveness and sustainability of actions supporting species conservation in the region. In addition to helping develop the strategy, responsibilities included co-creating and managing a women's leadership programme; facilitating the development of an innovative training/mentoring programme 'Essentials of NGO Management'; sourcing resources for partner organisations; identifying and connecting with capacity development practitioners regionally and internationally.

Provided quality control and capacity building services to field conservation projects across programme regions to adapt approaches to real‐world implementation challenges. This included supplying specialist knowledge for, and conducting M&E and impact evaluations of field conservation activities, and developing innovative new concepts in impact measurement. Furthermore developing capacity of zoo field and science staff, and partner organisations, on how to embed appropriate and achievable M&E into projects, on impact measurement, project exit, and legacy strategies.

Provided technical and organisational support for over a decade, including pro-bono roles of serving on advisory committees and the Board, to paid consultancy services. Led the development of the PASA Operation’s Manual (1st Edition) representing the 1st ever standards for sanctuary operations in Africa, and supporting alliance membership system.

Launched, developed and managed the ‘Post-Conflict Environmental Programme’, representing UNEP’s first post-conflict country-level presence in Africa. The programme focused on building capacity for environmental management in Liberia.

Advised and supported on management, policy, technical and scientific aspects of the Liberia Forest Reassessment (LFR) project during its final phase. A key focus was the delivery of biological and socio-economic data to help guide and support protected area development and management in Liberia.

Provided support for the management, technical and scientific aspects of the programme with a particular focus on the identification of conservation training and research needs in Liberia. Supported the development of a coalition of national and international environmental non-government organisations.

Managed a gorilla rehabilitation and reintroduction programme. This included monitoring the behaviour of gorillas during the rehabilitation phase; supervising and evaluating wildlife health and reintroduction protocols; and training and supervising staff in wildlife management techniques.

Successfully established the first wildlife rescue centre and sanctuary in Cameroon. The development of the facility enabled implementation of wildlife legislation by providing housing options for illegally held and traded wildlife confiscated by government officials. This start-up phase involved: substantive stakeholder engagement and partnership development; developing and managing all operational, administrative and financial procedures; developing and managing wildlife health and welfare protocols; and staff recruitment, training and supervision. The centre continues to thrive and is a key player in wildlife welfare and conservation in Cameroon.
