Led a team of 19 FTEs supporting and overseeing the activities of local area agencies on aging providing Older Americans Act services to individuals 60 years and older, including home delivered meals, transportation, housing modifications, and benefits counseling. Transformed the local and state strategic planning process to drive data-informed decision-making. Led the development and implementation of a pilot program to improve the quality and capacity of the home delivered meals program across the state. Provided oversight of all grants management activities, including successfully applying for federal discretionary grants, grant reporting, and fiscal management.

Led a team of three that coordinated legislative activities, audits, and special projects that supported eligibility determinations across the state of Texas for Medicaid, CHIP, SNAP, TANF, and Healthy Texas Women. Represented the Deputy Executive Commissioner on working groups with healthcare and other service providers to address issues related to Medicaid eligibility. Coordinated with local county officials on the rollout of the Disaster- SNAP program following Hurricane Harvey.

Managed a diverse portfolio of projects and contracts from small, well-defined initiatives to large, division-wide multi-year endeavors. Oversaw negotiations and development of multimillion-dollar contracts, including a $78 million data broker services contract. Provided leadership, oversight, and accountability to two multi-disciplinary teams.
