I love the career I have made for myself and look forward to the future. I have been in the Cosmetology industry for 17 years. I have grown as an individual, and within the industry. Starting out as a stylist I had learned the basic concept as the stylist and polished my own skills. Learning the importance of customer service over these years has been a beneficial aspect in my career. I then moved into the management role for eight years. In the manager position I have become organized and worked on delegating and problem solving skills. After managing I decided to go into a self employed role. This gave the understanding on how a business works from communication, and my work ethics. From here, I learned my true love in education. As a cosmetology instructor I have found that I enjoy working with students to grow their skills and understanding the Cosmetology industry.
