Originally from Southern Oregon, I moved to the Eugene area in 2010 to study advertising at the University of Oregon in the School of Journalism and Communication. During my time at UO, I discovered that I had a passion for working with people in a business environment through my minor in Business Administration. Being the creative person that I am, I have a strong belief that formal education, no matter the field of study, can be further enhanced with the addition of the fine arts, so I decided to double-minor in art as well. Through this interesting mix of studies, I was able to develop skills that would allow me to understand people and concepts on a variety of levels, eventually graduating with Cum Laude Honors. Currently, I'm working in the insurance industry as an Associate Agent with Country Financial. One element of this job that I really enjoy is the fact that I learn something new everyday. This type of work involves working with different people and solving various problems everyday and there seems to never be a dull moment. There's no greater feeling of satisfaction than the feeling I get when I can take a problem and figure out a way to resolve the issue that makes the client feel confident about who they choose to do business with. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Rick and our Search and Rescue K9s, Ellie (Border Collie/ Newfoundland mix) and Koosah (Border Collie), or working on various projects with our investment properties. Rick and I are avid snowboarders, and in the winter, we are always checking the weather to find the best powder weekends to head to Mt. Bachelor, along with an annual resort ski trip with the family. Always seeking an adventure year-round, I love to go camping, hiking, and fishing in the summer months, and every August you’ll find me at Lemolo Lake, Oregon, for my family’s annual camping trip.They say everyone has a story to tell, I have hundreds.
