I am a T.A. of the Computer Numerically Controlled Machines (CNC Machines) in the Fabrication Lab. This includes checking student Mastercam files for approval and setting up and running the CNC machines for various jobs.

I am working on a small project in the south of France with the project architect. My duties include building models- both physically and digitally, producing drawings, making site visits, etc.

I assisted the associate dean with research on initiatives on the city of Detroit from which the college could benefit. This included researching what other universities, foundations, and organizations have done in Detroit as well as participating in college committee discussions. I also assisted the associate dean in researching new concentrations for the Master of Science in Architecture degree program at the college. This included researching programs at other top universities and organizing text and charts of this information for the committee members.

University Of Michigan Taubman College Of Architecture And Urban Planning

I assisted Jen Maigret and Maria Arquero in their Research Through Making project entitled "Water+sheds." This project considered relationships between construction practices and water quality throughout the Great Lakes Basin. Water+sheds was exhibited in the form of an atlas at the Taubman College Architecture Gallery in January 2011.While working on the project, I worked on digital files of the Great Lakes Basin in Rhinoceros and in the Spatial and Numeric Data (SAND) Lab, constructed the model of the basins, and produced drawings for the atlas that was produced.

I was the undergraduate student representative who sat on the committee to aid Dean Monica Ponce de Leon in choosing a new Chair of the Architecture Program. The committee consisted of six faculty members, one staff member, and three students (one undergraduate, one graduate, and one doctoral).As a committee, we discussed the roles of the Chair of the program, read up on the applicants' credentials, chose and interviewed applicants for private first round interviews, invited and interviewed a select number of applicants back for public second round interviews, prepared documents of our opinions for the dean, and offered our final recommendations for the position to Dean Monica Ponce de Leon.

Beijing, China

As an intern at Dada Architecture, I worked on a facade design for an office park in Beijing, and helped layout a master plan for a urban village turned housing project. This included a schematic laying out of units on the property and working on floor plans for the various types of housing.
