As a worker at Kids N Shape, I was responsible for inspecting restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies. In addition to the restrooms, I cleaned equipment in the gym area and refilled the stock needed in the kitchen. As for parties, communication with staff regarding customer allergies, dietary needs and other special requests was crucial. Active listening to the customers was also necessary to confirm that appropriate changes were made to resolve any problems and fulfill their wants, in regards to their parties. When needed, I also handled cash and credit card transaction.

As an intern, I was responsible for logging files into the companies data system via excel. This helped when creating certifications for members who passed their Department of Building required courses such as site safety, scaffolding safety, fall protection, drug and alcohol abuse awareness, and OSHA refresher examinations. After verifying that the proper classes were taken, I was responsible for making sure all students received verification of the classes taken such as certificates and cards. Contacting current employees in order to update resumes, making it easier when placing certain site and fire safety managers to specific job sites, was another one of my responsibilities as an intern.
