- Program Planning - Planned and executed annual humanitarian aid programs to feed more than 100,000 children and provide vitamins to more than 20,000 pregnant women and their babies in the DPRK (North Korea). Prepared budget and distribution plans, and procured, shipped and distributed shipments of essential humanitarian aid.- Program Monitoring & Evaluation - Conducted in-country monitoring, interviewing women and children, health officials and government. Led teams of volunteers and donors, and ensured the collection of all necessary program data.- Office Management - Managed day-to-day operations of the office, including managing a team of part-time staff and volunteers, providing technical support and ensuring project deadlines were met. - Copywriting & Editing - Wrote and edited newsletters, reports, speeches, etc. to communicate the organization's goals, progress, and needs in both English and Korean.- Donor Stewardship - Composed individualized thank you letters, donor reports and mass mailings, and made thank you calls to ensure donors were appreciated for their support. - Public Speaking - Created tailor-made presentations in English and Korean for a wide variety of audiences, from seniors to kindergarten children. - Data Management - Developed and maintained data management systems (including CRM software), ensuring data was current and accurate, aggregated and analyzed qualitative and quantitative data to create reports - Social Media, Design & Web - Designed and scheduled social media posts, edited photos and videos, managed Squarespace website, and utilized Microsoft and Google Suites.- International Shipping - Procured, shipped, and received UN & Canadian permits for humanitarian supplies.- Travel Logistics - Arranged more than 15 monitoring visits to DPRK and hosted foreign delegations in Shanghai, China and Vancouver, Canada. Planned itineraries, arranged flights, hotels, visas, etc., and managed travel expenses.
