Hello, my name is Kaylen Fields. I am a senior student at Milligan University, majoring in the area of Nursing. My expected graduation date will be May 2025. Being a local to Milligan University, I decided to further my education here because of the Christian atmosphere and outstanding nursing program. A reason for choosing my major in Nursing is to provide exceptional care to patients just like others have done for me in the past. During my time at Milligan University, I have shown academic achievement through being awarded the James H. Lewis Book Scholarship and being on the Dean’s list of the 2021-2022 Fall and Spring semesters. My GPA is a 3.96 on a 4.0 scale. Some of my certifications would include American Heart Association BLS/ CPR, Microsoft Office 365, and OSHA 10 Training. Work ethic, leadership, and organization are skills I exhibit daily in academic and work positions. Roan Mountain, Tennessee is where I have called home for my twenty years of life. Being born and raised in East Tennessee, I tend to help the community as much as I can through volunteering in Youth Ministry, Operation Christmas Child, and children’s athletics. I am employed at two locations to help with the expenses of college: Frank and Marty’s Pizza as well as Water Quality Labs and Operations. Having a busy lifestyle allows me to convey work ethic and responsibility in each area of my life.
