• Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the department.• Answers and screens phone calls, schedules meetings and support visitors.• Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results. • Exhibits excellent communication both verbal and written via phone, e-mail, and mail.• Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.• Provides information by answering questions and requests.• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.• Acts as assistant to department nurse manager and assistant nurse managers as needed.• Provides coverage of other areas such as point of service, registration, transporter, and nursing assistant. • Ensure the flow of department by creating new processes, taking initiative to solve problems, and acting proactively. • Work cross-functionally and coordinates communication with other departments.• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and privacy regarding all patient and job-related information. • Use excellent organizational skills to maintain department logs and reports. • Collaborate with outside vendors and company representatives. • Other duties as assigned.
