I am a sixth form leaver currently awaiting my A-Level results before going on to study Modern Languages at Newcastle University. So far, my education has made me develop a keen interest in Spanish and I am looking forward to being able to develop my Spanish skills at University, as well as being able to learn languages that are new to me and about the culture in the parts of the world that speak these languages which will allow me to have a better understanding of the world. In the future I would love for this to lead to me being a translator so that people from all over the world can communicate with each other.My other interests include dancing, for example I attended a dance school for 9 years where I did Ballroom, Latin and Classical Sequence. I attended dancing competitions across the country and became Latin Champion of Tomorrow in 2014. I also helped to teach younger students during this time and this was extremely fulfilling as I enjoyed watching and helping them to improve and build their confidence. At the moment, due to Covid-19, I am at home a lot with my 5 younger siblings and I have been teaching them some Spanish. This has been such a good experience as not only have they been taught something new but I have been able to look at the language from a whole new perspective.I'm happy to connect with people who have the same goals/interests, employers and professionals so just send me a connection request!
