Implementation of UTZ/Rainforest Alliance training strategy in Nigeria.Supporting partners and members implementing UTZ/Rainforest Alliance certification program.

- Providing technical leadership and guidance for project implementation in the zone. - Facilitation of capacity building Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops and others trainings in both formal and informal settings.- Design and execute mini projects and trainings in rural and semi-urban communities/groups. - Monitoring the performance & training implementation on the field and prepare technical reports.- Facilitate rural agro-enterprise development, market linkages and value chain development.- Trained rural youths & women on rural micro-entrepreneurship and gender mainstreaming.- Managing the farmers’ database that contains records of over 3000 farmers in Akure-Owo zone.- Lead the team in mobilizing beneficiary farming communities/groups in Ondo State for the project.

- Provided technical support and guidance in the implementation of the project’s work plan. - Facilitation of skills trainings and workshops in both formal and informal settings.- Monitoring the performance & training implementation among project farms and farming households.- Prepared proposals, budgets as well as weekly & monthly technical reports on project activities.- Supervising and mentoring the Field Supervisors and over 30 Team Leaders under my supervision.- Facilitated collection, analysis and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative field data.- Organizing trainings and ensuring all training requirements as well as materials are in place.- Represented the project in conferences and fora (forums).- Training of the project’s new staff and Lead Farmers (or Team Leaders) on Facilitation Skills and other skills required to equip them toward training their fellow farmers.- Facilitated market linkages between project farmers and authorized input dealers and buying agents.- Trained rural women & youths on rural entrepreneurship and gender related topics (e.g. GALS tools).- Managed a database that contains record of over 2000 cocoa farmers in Akure zone.- Trained rural households on rural finance and management of community-based cooperative societies.- Member of the team that mobilized more than 80 new beneficiary farming communities/groups both in Osun and Ondo States for the expansion of the project.

- Trained project’s Contact/Lead Farmers to train their fellow farmers.- Trained over 400 cocoa farmers on Cocoa Certification and Sustainable Cocoa Production under sub-theme Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Environmental Practices (GEP), Good Social Practices (GSP) and Good Business Practices GBP) among others.- Collection of both qualitative and quantitative data on cocoa production among the project’s farmers.- Worked closely with farmers to ensure training implementation and progress on their farms.- Surpassed the 30 metric tons target on procurement of certified cocoa beans within four months.- Supervised the disbursement and distribution of agricultural input loan worth more than two million naira to cocoa farmers under my supervision in Osun State and monitored the repayment.- Supervised the distribution of 720 hybrid pods to my farmers for raising cocoa nurseries in each of their communities.- Monitored the raising of over 15,000 improved cocoa seedlings in communities under my supervision. These were distributed to project farmers for rehabilitating and replanting their ageing farms. - Recorded the highest Farmers Field School attendance among the 17 Field Supervisors and produced the highest number of certified cocoa farmers within one year.- Due to my outstanding success as a field supervisor, received a promotion from the Senior Management to the position of IMS Manager to the project after one year.

-Taught Agricultural Science to Senior Secondary Students of the college -Conducted classroom, laboratory and field practical sessions for students -Record keeping and managed the database of students’ exam scores and other information -Supervised and streamlined the operations of departmental staff with the school curriculum.-Succeeded in changing the negative orientation of the students about the field of Agriculture as a profession and this made many of them chose Agriculture as a course of study in universities.-Made Agricultural Science a subject with the second highest percentage pass (after Igbo Lang.) in WASSCE/NECO examinations with over 80% at Credit pass.-Received a promotion to the position of Head of Agricultural Science Department of the institution.

-Taught Agric. Science to Senior Secondary students of the college-Conducted classroom, laboratory and field practical for students-Record keeping and managed the database of students’ scores and other information-Served as the Muslim Corper Liaison Officer (MCLO) for Nnewi North LGA.-Awarded the Best 2009 Batch B Corp Member in Nnewi High School.-Served as Assistant Presiding Officer in Feb. 2010 Governorship election in Anambra State.
