I’m comfortable with all diverse populations and in fact enjoy learning from patrons as much as they learn from me. I work to ensure that all patrons are well informed and comfortable with how to use the library so that they not only return, but become stronger advocates for themselves and their local library.While having worked in the field of human development and child welfare for years, I am looking to use my social work and human services skills in the area of information literacy and research. So to empower others to find what they are searching for. I am very self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong decision and critical thinking skills. I am very flexible to different situations, and quite adaptive and use my abilities to work under great pressure. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office 2007-2016, Adobe Photoshop and Acrobat, Webdata Pro, LexisNexis, ACES, SCOMIS, Canvas, Panopto, Collaborate, and Evergreen ILS.
