I lead Salesforce's capacity planning team. We manage demand and supply for Salesforce core, marketing cloud and commerce cloud infrastructure across both first party and Hyperforce. This includes demand management, supply chain and sourcing tracking and power and space planning.

I work on the centralized capacity planning team focused on Salesforce's largest product suite. As part of my role I manage a team of eleven capacity planners focused on demand management for core. We work with many other teams to maintain capacity health for our customers as we migrate to Hyperforce (public cloud).

I worked on the Datacenter Group's Market Intelligence Team. During this time I worked with various business units to gather requirements, craft key market intelligence questions and execute primary research sensing projects. Key findings were integrated into product roadmap decisions, marketing messaging and market sizing efforts.

Lead analyst on large scale, custom, primary research program for 451’s largest client. Currently in third year of contract and value has grown 44% since inception. Methodologies leveraged include regressions, conjoint and cluster. Manage two dedicated analysts for this projectOversee operations and strategy for the 451 Alliance, a proprietary panel of 60k IT decision makers globally. Panel currently supports over $5M in revenue annually. Directly manage 11 team membersResearch techniques used for these engagements included conjoint, regressions and clustering.

• Managed Datacenter Knowledgebase product, a database of over 4,000 colocation datacenters updated quarterly. Product also includes five year forecast of the datacenter and colocation market• Grew revenue of Datacenter Knowledgebase 74% over two years and moved product from excel spreadsheet to relational database. Managed one Senior Analyst and collaborated closely with data collection team

• Oversaw launch of Voice of the Enterprise primary research product family including sales training, marketing, website updates, research agenda creation, survey design and logistics across 7 internal groups• Managed upgrade of Uptime Institute’s Abnormal Incident Reports (AIRs) system, performed original and pioneering analysis of AIRs and led engagement with one of Uptime’s largest network members to enable easier upload of AIRs• Created DCIM ROI model based on qualitative and quantitative primary research that led to popular report and multiple consulting engagements

• Built search strategies, executed consulting engagements, helped design pitches for prospective clients, executed the search process and performed research on potential candidates • Wrote documents and designed presentations for the boards of Fortune 500, mid-cap and non-profit organizations

• Started datacenter infrastructure management (DCIM) research at IDC and published the first systematic ranking of DCIM vendors• Led custom worldwide low-end server research project worth approximately $1 million annually

• Published IDC’s first cloud computing server forecast

Worked at Sun Microsystems on the Research and Strategy Team as part of the Executive Communications Team. My main responsibilities included creating a model to prioritize global influencers for executive programming and ranking universities in 12 countries in terms of their relevance to Sun.
