Scheduled and performed weekly, monthly, yearly calibrations, and QC checks on all detector types. Laboratory work involved running one Princeton Gamma Tech (PGT), five ORTEC p-type, and one ORTEC LEP's detector. While working to apply all safety and company safety guidelines. Alpha Spectrometry is 100% laboratory work, which had 24 chambers to analysis Am, Pu, and U. Assisted in maintaining Bioassay DOELAP accreditation.

Responsibilities include environmental sampling on and around the Idaho National Lab as a part of the State Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and current DOE orders. Schedule and perform maintenance and calibration of monitoring equipment, for air, water, and soil sampling emphasizing quality assurance.
