The first ten years of my professional life entailed teaching Language Arts and Composition in the public school system. My tenure included contracts with Title I, alternative, and traditional schools, and I taught honors, gifted, and special education students across multiple grade levels.In October 2018, I began working at UPS as a part-time High Value Associate, and in April of 2019, I accepted a full-time position of Global Strategy Supervisor, a role that enabled me to develop my proficiency in transformation management, continuous improvement efforts, and customer relationship initiatives.In September 2023, I accepted a promotion as Global Training Manager, where I lead a team consisting of one supervisor and twelve training specialists across three countries. I’m responsible for ensuring engaging and effective training delivery for our Customer Service representatives. Proper management of content and facilitation has a direct impact on the success of our operations.My competencies include instructional design and content delivery for various learning styles, interpersonal relationship skills, public speaking, content editing, benchmarking analytics, research, and presentation design. I continue to keep an open mind for roles that will be both challenging and rewarding.
